(November 10, 2016)- Once again this holiday season, the Cape Coral Police Department will be teaming up with the Harry Chapin Food Bank to collect food for the needy.
On Thursday, November 17th, members of the Cape Coral Police Department's SWAT team will be at area Walmart stores to greet the public and to collect food for the Harry Chapin Food Bank. They will be collecting donations at these 3 Walmart locations starting at 1:00pm:
- 1619 Del Prado Boulevard South
- 505 SW Pine Island Road (Neighborhood Walmart)
- 2020 NE Pine Island Road (Neighborhood Walmart, recently opened)
CCPD is proud to once again partner with the Harry Chapin Food Bank and Walmart to provide for those less fortunate over the holiday season. We also welcome this year the Cape Coral-based advertising firm Moore & Scarry, who are gathering donations at their offices and wished to issue a friendly challenge to other area businesses to see which business can come up with the largest donations for the SWAT team. We hope to see lots of participants, meaning lots of donations!
