(May 9, 2016)- The driver in a July 2015 crash that killed an employee at Diamond Billiards in Cape Coral, has been sentenced.
On May 9, 2016, defendant William Gulliver, the driver in the Diamond Billiard Pool Hall fatality crash, plead to the following charges and was immediately sentenced:
- 1) DUI Manslaughter
- 2) DUI Causing Serious Bodily Injury
- 3) DUI Causing Personal Injury
Sentence: 7 years Department of Corrections, followed by 3 years probation, lifetime DL suspension (never eligible again), DNA sampling, DUI school, substance abuse counseling, ignition interlock device on all vehicles owned/leased, $1,000 fine, court cost, and $20,000 restitution to the victims.
