If you are going to park next to a handicapped parking spot, please stay in your painted lane. The handicap parking spaces are wider with a safety zone for a reason. The person in the vehicle might need more room to allow them to lower a ramp or equipment to help them get out of their vehicle safely.
No one likes when a vehicle parks too closely to their vehicle, but they can usually crawl across the car if need be. Owners of handicap vehicles might have to wait until the improperly parked vehicle’s driver returns.
